Send the best version you can find. If it isn’t ready to press, we’ll tell you right away and help.
Sharp PNG files
At least 300 DPI at the size it will be made, on a transparent background. Ask your designer for the largest version they have.
Anything else
A JPG, a screenshot, even a photo of an old shirt. Send it and we’ll tell you if it needs cleanup before we quote it.
Size and detail that hold up.
Patches and transfers are small. These rules keep your logo sharp and readable once it’s made.
- Send it bigMake your file at least as large as the finished patch or transfer. Scaling a small file up makes it blurry.
- Text at least 1/4 inch tallThat’s about 6 mm. Smaller letters can fill in, especially on embroidered, PVC and chenille patches. Woven patches hold the finest text.
- Lines at least 1/32 inch thickAbout 1 mm. Thinner lines may break up or disappear.
- Convert fonts to outlinesOr send the font files with your art, so your lettering looks exactly as designed.
- Art you have the rights toOnly send logos and artwork you own or have permission to use. We can’t produce anyone else’s brand.

Know the limits
Printed patches and full-color transfers handle gradients and photos. Thread and PVC patches use solid colors, so we’ll suggest a simpler version if needed.
